The first-ever Youth Division outside of Japan was born on August 28th!

We were so grateful to have Kumakura Sosho join us for this special ceremony. They were given warm congratulatory remarks and presented commemorative fans, and the room was full of excitement. When our Youth Division president gave the response speech, many of us were moved to tears.

This special day was made possible thanks to the hard work of our preparatory committee and the extensive support from Head Office. Thank you so much!

We can't wait to see the friendship between youth divisions in Japan and overseas grow, and watch our tea community continue to expand.

８月２８日の一般講習会におきまして、海外初となります北加支部青年部の発会式を執り行うことができました。表千家より熊倉宗匠にご臨席を賜り、このような形で発会式を執り行うことができましたことは、北加支部の会員一同にとりまして、大きな喜びでございました。

猶有斎宗匠、三木町宗匠、左海宗匠より、ご祝辞と、記念品の扇を賜り、場内が高揚感に包まれる中、青年部部長が答辞を読み上げました際には、感動のあまり目を潤ませる会員もおりました。準備委員会の努力はもちろんのこと、本部の多大なるご支援によって実現できましたことに、心より感謝申し上げます。

これから海外と日本の青年部が交流を深め、お茶友さんの輪が広がっていくことを、会員全員で心より楽しみにいたしております。
